Relax, unwind, and bliss out on Saturday, October 15th from 6-7:30 with Kelly Jarvis & Stephanie Lynne for a deeply relaxing and nourishing practice of restorative yoga and sound immersion.
Kelly will lead the restorative yoga practice to allow stress and layers of tension to melt away. Rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit while resting in long-held restorative yoga postures supported by blankets, pillows, and bolsters.
A collection of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, shamanic drum, and native flute will be played by Stephanie during the practice. This sound experience works along the energy meridians to allow blockages to soften and release to create more ease.
After an hour long practice, an extended savasana where Stephanie will play the gong to allow for complete nourishment of your body. Vibrations created from the gong are felt on the skin as well as inside the body, it calms the mind to support a deeply relaxing, meditative state. Gongs have been shown to increase endorphin levels to bring relief from physical pain, boost the immune system, reduce tension and regulate stress-related hormones.
No yoga experience is required and all levels are welcome to attend. Your body cools down as you lay in these restful poses so dress comfortably and warmly. Workshop is 90 minutes long and $45.
