About Qi Gong:
With a regular practice, Qi Gong benefits can be felt almost immediately. Pronounced “chee-gung”, qigong is an ancient form of Chinese yoga that cultivates “qi” (life energy) also known as chi and incorporates deep breathing and stretching. Chinese shamans, Taoists and Buddhist monks originally practiced Qi Gong thousands of years ago as a way to seek peace and harmony with nature. Benefits include improved memory, a reduction of stress, better emotional balance, an increase in energy and vitality, and improved focus.
About Katie:
Katie is new to us, but not to teaching and helping people find peace in their bodies. Katie has been an instructor of the Feldenkrais Method since 2013, and has just begun her journey teaching Qi Gong this year after 8 years of workshops and classes. Katie was drawn to Feldenkrais and Qi Gong as a way to heal from a chronic illness and has been practicing them ever since.
