We understand trying something new can be confusing and create challenges, so we want to make it as easy as possible. Here are the answers to some questions you might be asking.

What can I expect when it's my first time at the studio?

Whether you come for a class or a workshop, someone will be there to greet and welcome you. You can park in the back lot and walk up Fourth Alley and enter the front door. Doors typically open 15 minutes prior to regular classes. Some long workshops or kids events will open just a few minutes before start time. We have everything you will need at the studio including water and equipment. Your instructor will guide you once you arrive.

What should I wear to the studio?

For most of our classes and events, the most important thing is that you are comfortable and safe for movement. We recommend workout clothes, yoga pants, sweatpants, shorts, and anything you feel the most comfortable in. Come as you are! When you enter, you will be asked to remove your shoes for yoga, pilates, and barre classes. For strength classes, we keep our shoes on. Don't worry... your instructor will guide you once you arrive.

How do I register for a class?

Registration happens on fitDEGREE, whether on the mobile app or online. Download our app here. When you click into a class, it will ask you to choose how you want to pay. You can choose a drop-in, a membership, or for specialty classes and workshops, it will be a special registration fee. See our pricing options here. We ask that you register for classes ahead of time so that our instructors can properly prepare for class.

What if I need to cancel?

You can manage your schedule in the fitDEGREE app to cancel a class. If you cancel with four hours or more notice, there is no penalty. Within four hours, you will lose your pass or have to pay a late cancel fee, depending on the pass/membership you have used to register.

What if class is canceled by the studio?

If we cancel class due to low attendance, weather, or an emergency with our team, we will notify you as soon as we know and you will not lose a pass. It's important to us that you receive the community experience you expect from Fit2Shine, so if the class does not have at least 3 students registered 90 minutes before, the class will be canceled.
